These bylaws outline the governance structure of Together Rise Community Micro‑Funds Inc.

 

  1. Name

The name of the organization is Together Rise Community Micro‑Funds Inc.

 

  1. Purpose

To provide interest‑free, community‑supported hardship assistance to individuals and families in Ontario.

 

  1. Non‑Profit Structure

The organization operates as a non‑profit under Ontario law. 

No part of the organization’s income is payable to members, directors, or officers.

 

  1. Membership

Membership is open to individuals who:

– Pay the monthly membership fee 

– Agree to the Terms of Use 

– Follow the Code of Conduct 

Membership may be suspended for misconduct.

 

  1. Board of Directors

The Board:

– Oversees governance 

– Ensures compliance 

– Approves policies 

– Manages risk 

Directors serve without compensation.

 

  1. Meetings

The Board meets at least twice per year. 

Minutes are recorded and stored securely.

 

  1. Financial Management

Funds are used for:

– Program support 

– Administration 

– Verification 

– Technology 

– Community operations 

Annual financial records are maintained.

 

  1. Amendments

Bylaws may be amended by a majority vote of the Board.
